A big thank you for a Little Bird!
November 16th, 2009
I recently had the need for a bio shot and the best photo I had of myself was four years old. Let’s just say I have aged in those years and felt like a fraud using it. So I got together with Pru from Little Bird Photography for a really fun shoot. I loved thinking of what would best represent what I do and came up with an ‘idea’ – Thoughts, dreams and love. I thought finding a blue wall would be my biggest challenge but as it turned out, that was easy! It was shooting in the rain with a three year old in tow that turned out to be the hardest part.
A BIG thank you to Pru. She is simply wonderful and created photos that go far beyond what I had imagined.
Now, anyone need a bio shot of me? (he he he)

Feeling the love

Wow! I feel very honoured this month to be awarded May’s most Fabulous Member on Skout Trade Fair. Just to be nominated was amazing. Then to be voted by other members left me completely shocked.
A BIG thank you to everyone who voted for me. I feel very loved

Love surprises

It really is a happy Friday. I heard a little tap on my front door earlier only to find a big vase full of gorgeous flowers. A thank you from Lou at Skout, Amanda at Style Collective, Jae at Tot Trends Weekly and Jodi at Baby Bites.
So nice! I loved working with you and I love my flowers.
My new home…

Finally, Gigi and Lulu has a ‘quiet’ little space all of her own. Yes, I have happily moved out of the living area and into my own little office and I can’t tell you how nice it feels. I had the pleasure of decorating from scratch! No hand me downs from the lounge room or donations from friends. It’s all fresh and sparkly.
My best buys included a $5 table from eBay that I had 2-pac sprayed bright white (love it) and a $5 chair from the Op Shop that I had recovered in gorgeous fabric from Warwick (really love that).
So, if you’re like me and always wonder what other people’s workspaces look like, here’s mine!
