Pixel Magix branding

May 20th, 2009

How did I get so lucky? I believe I have the best clients in the world. All of them. And, Kylie and Mike from Pixel Magix are no exception. This amazing husband and wife photography team from Perth are so, so lovely and very funny! Not only do they run a successful business, they have six kids! I’m amazed!

Pixel Magix needed a makeover. My brief was to redesign their existing logo and develop a way that all the facets of their wonderful business could belong together. My approach was to design an umbrella logo with sub-brands. Together we developed an identity for each division (weddings, children, commercial, boudoir, engagements and their fab photo booth) and then tied them together with the Pixel Magix heart.

I was also asked to develop a tagline and after getting to know Kylie and Mike and all that they offer, ‘Love them’ was most appropriate.

I only wish Kylie and Mike were in Melbourne so I could host a party and hire ‘The Booth’. It looks like so much fun!

Portobello Bride comes to life

May 20th, 2009

I love this project! Kim Billing from Watch the Birdie has developed a lovely bridal concept called Portobello Bride – A boutique market for brides to be. Her vision is to support talented, small businesses and to give brides an opportunity to find something ‘different’ in a gorgeous market setting.

My job was to create a logo to match Kim’s vision. With thanks to my friend and very talented illustrator Vanu Allmand, we developed the concept of a modern bride. So gorgeous!

Market dates for 2010 are:
27th & 28th March
11th & 12th September

If you have a great business and would be interested in showing at Portobello Bride, keep your eye on the Portobello Bride website. New site and market details are coming soon.

connect2mums logo and web styling

May 11th, 2009

It’s been a while since I’ve showed you what I have been doing. Believe me, I have been very busy. So here comes the flood of style files to show you exactly what I have been up to.

Beginning with a lovely new client Paula from connect2mums. A fab new interactive magazine just for mums! It’s a great place to meet others, share your wares and gather information on parenting and just being a woman. Paula has done a great job of attracting mums from all over Australia and New Zealand and now she as a new look to go with all her hard work.

I created a logo for her and developed some branding devices and guidelines to ensure her new website is cohesive and attractive. Do you like it? We also created some banner ads and buttons.

Go and join the fun but be warned, it’s addictive.

RxConnect International logo

April 6th, 2009

I worked on this project with a lovely man who happens to be the former boss of my good friend Jenny (hi Jen). It is for a new business in the pharmaceutical industry and will be seen all over the world! I put together a Logo, Letterhead, Fax Cover Sheet and Business Cards for Bruce at RxConnect International.

It was great to work on a ‘corporate’ look.

PS – Check out Jenny’s new blog (designed by moi)…She’s just at the beginning of her blogging journey. Enjoy the ride Jen! www.stilljennyfromtheblog.blogspot.com

Arts-in-Sync logo

March 15th, 2009

Goodness, I have so much to show you all! I’ve finally found a moment in between projects, school activities, twittering and everyday life stuff to share some of the work I have been doing over the past few weeks.

Beginning with a really fun logo for Meg at Arts-in-Sync. Meg has started her own Performing Arts consultancy business and asked me to design a logo for her. And here it is…what a pleasure!

(I still can’t seem to keep away from red…I love it!)

My mum discovered an amazing jewellery designer by the name of Jeannie Stephen, and I was fortunate enough to design a little logo and business card for her. She makes the most beautiful resin brooches and necklaces. I will try and get my hands on a few photos to show you all.

Thank you Tarnya for allowing me to transform your brand. I can’t wait to watch her grow in 2009 and beyond.

Feet body soul (UK) logo

November 2nd, 2008

A lovely little job all the way from the UK! Reflexologist, Karen Imrie, really wanted a business name and logo that would appeal to women and stand out from the crowded natural therapy market. ‘Feet Body Soul’ evolved from the reflexology principle that you start at the feet to heal the body and awaken the soul. A holistic therapy with a young, fresh, feel good brand.

Oh, how I’d love a treatment right now…
